The Delivery Driver is responsible for pickup and delivery of projects/orders and materials from vendors and customer in a timely and safe manner. The driver coordinates workload accomplishment to meet customer requirements while achieving optimum productivity. Works closely with other company personnel to meet or exceed customer expectations.
The Delivery Driver is a main interface with our customers and must provide a competent and personable representation of the company. As the Delivery Driver, you are responsible for transporting company and customer goods safely. You are an important member of both the Production and Sales Teams. Your efforts to deliver and pick up orders and goods in a timely and safe manner facilitate the success of the entire organization and ensure our final customer satisfaction and accomplishment of the company goals: Guarantee satisfaction and value for our customers. Desired Skills and Experience
General and Administrative: Communicate effectively with the General Manager, the Operation Manager, the dispatcher, the sales team, and the Production Team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that the sales and customer objectives are met.
Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals.
Participate as a key player in the Production Team by supporting operations as needed.
Coordinate with the Production Team to schedule daily deliveries and pickups.
Remain flexible to restructure schedule as needed.
Drive vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws.
Load and unload delivery goods.
Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
Maintain vehicle in good, safe working condition.
Maintain vehicle in clean and fueled readiness condition.
Inform supervisor of any vehicle problems.
Safe Operation of Vehicle.
Ability to read delivery tickets and learn material to check deliveries. Maintain a clean truck.
Communications skills with customers, sales and management.
Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
Ability to handle changes in vehicles or deliveries in a positive manner.

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
